The Bobby Moore Fund Sports Ball for Cancer Research UK
Location: The Hurlingham Club, Fulham, London
The Bobby Moore Fund Sports Ball takes place on the 25th September at The Hurlingham Club in Fulham. The evening hosted by Iranian comedian Omid Djalili and television presenter Gaby Roslin includes a drinks reception on the banks of the River Thames, a three-course dinner with wine, entertainment and dancing to live music from our party band ‘Souled Out’. The night will also give you the chance to bid in our exclusive auctions and mingle with our celebrity guests including ITV's senior commentator Clive Tyldesley, Matthew Wright and Soccer AM's Max Rushden.
Tables cost £1,750 for 10 people.
We also have a number of sponsorship opportunities, priced at £5,000; the package includes a prime-positioned table of ten, champagne on your table, a branded area in the champagne reception and a full page colour advert in our event programme.
Bobby Moore OBE remains the only English football captain to lift the World Cup. Bobby died from bowel cancer in 1993 at just 51 years old; Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK to raise awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer and fund vital research. 44 people die from bowel cancer every day in the UK but, if diagnosed at the earliest stage, over 9 out of 10 bowel cancer patients will survive their disease for more than 5 years. Your support will help us to continue making progress and saving lives.
If you are interested in supporting the Fund in other ways, for example providing an auction or raffle prize for this event, please contact Louise on 020 7438 5210
