The MediCinema Movie Walk
Join us on location and let us take you on an adventure
to discover the wonders of the Silver Screen on your very own doorstep.
This is your chance to experience the magic of the movies
and help raise funds for your local MediCinema by taking part in this year’s
MediCinema Movie Walk
London and Newcastle on Sunday 5th September
Glasgow and Cardiff on Sunday 19th September
Visit the scenes from your favourite movies and timeless classics……
The Leaky Cauldron from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,
Waterloo Bridge where you can recreate the infamous scene from
Four Weddings and a Funeral when Charles (Hugh Grant)
declares his love for Carrie (Andie McDowell)
The Volcano Nightclub from Danny Boyle’s legendary blockbuster Trainspotting
Relive the excitement in the Millennium Stadium from 28 Weeks Later
This 10k sponsored walk is one with a twist and more than a stroll in the park.
We will take you on a guided tour of one of the areas that is home to a MediCinema,
London, Glasgow, Newcastle and Cardiff
Pass famous buildings, locations and streets where filming has taken place
with your own detailed route map so you can complete the walk in your own time
as fast or as leisurely as you want –there is plenty to be seen and discovered!

All funds raised will help bring the magic of the cinema
to more and more patients in more and more hospitals
