CAF Media Training - NEW
This one day course will give you the confidence to get your messaging right in high pressure situations, handle broadcast interviews effectively and ensure that your charity’s voice is heard.
Working to camera at a London studio, you will carry out a number of recorded interviews on topics of immediate concern to your charity. CAF’s Mark Webster will take you through a range of interview formats, to ensure you’re at ease with the grammar of television. After each interview, there will be a feedback and analysis session designed to build your effectiveness as a communicator. Every participant will receive a DVD of their interviews.
For: charities of all sizes.
Objective: Aimed at Charity CEO’s, trustees and key charity communicators. CAF, Media Training will give you an intensive and realistic introduction to the media, and prepare you for radio and television interviews.
Mark Webster
Your mentor for the day will be CAF’s Director of Communications, Mark Webster. Prior to joining CAF, Mark was the senior spokesman for the Liberal Democrats under Menzies Campbell’s leadership and from 1983 – 2005 a senior broadcaster and journalist with ITN.
