Blenheim Palace Half Marathon for British Heart Foundation

We are pleased to announce that the BHF Blenheim Palace Half Marathon will return for its second year on Sunday 7th October 2012.

Half Marathon - Adult entry - £23. Starting at 10am suitable for 17 and over’s on the day of the event only.
Join the first ever Blenheim Palace Half Marathon, starting in the Great Court - at the heart of the palace, this magnificent route takes in the beautiful parkland landscape of the Blenheim Palace estate and surrounding villages. The route is entirely on tarmac roads and is undulating. If wheel chair users do want to participant they will be asked to start at 10.30am. The route is made up for one long lap and one short lap and is traffic free. Entry includes entry into Blenheim Palace Park and Gardens, T-shirt, medal, chip timing and goody bag. There will be prizes awarded for fundraising not necessarily the fastest runners.

10km Run - Adult entry - £17, Under 16s entry £5. Starting at 10.40am.
Our improved popular 10km route now starts in the Great Court to soak up the atmosphere of this exciting event and like all events it now boasts chip timing.

Reed Corporate Challenge & Relay – Team of 4 entry fee is £200. Teams are asked to raise £2,500. Starts at 10am with a premium spot on the start line.
Improve working life and get social by getting a team of 4 colleagues to run the half marathon together in the Challenge or split the distance in the Relay. Teams are asked to raise £2,000 and will enjoy hospitality and entry into the Palace.

Family Fun Run - Adult entry £10 and £5 for under 16s. Starts at 1pm.
There is something for everyone so bring friends, family and children along to run the 2km course and make a day of it. School/club fundraising prizes are available to be sure to complete your school/club name when entering.
Spectators must pay entry into Blenheim Palace park and gardens this is at a discounted rate at www.blenheimpalace.com/halfmarathonspectators

Taking part in a BHF event is a fantastic way for you to improve your heart health while raising vital funds to help the British Heart Foundation continue its pioneering, life-saving work. Have fun, get fit and save lives!

As this is a fundraising event, we are relying on all participants to fundraise as part of their BHF event experience. We kindly ask that each person raise a minimum of £50 which will help the BHF continue it’s fight against heart disease.
