To advance education and promote equality of opportunity and good race relations between persons of different racial origins and the elimination of unlawful racial discrimination; to advance the education of the public in the art and science of architecture by any means which is charitable, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by the presentation of an an annual memorial lecture in memory of Stephen Lawrence; to advance education by the provision of scholarships, bursaries, maintenance allowances to any person the trustees deem fit provided that such persons are undertaking (or are about to undertake) a course of formal education at any university or other recognised educational establishment to prepare or assist such persons to gain entry into the professions of architecture
