Aims & Objectives:
The Licensed Trade Charity was formed on the 26th October 2004 by a merger of the Society of Licensed Victuallers and the Licensed Victuallers National Homes, to care for people who work or have worked in the licensed drink industry. The charity offers ex-gratia payments, regular financial assistance, access to convalescence care and nomination rights to retirement housing for the over 55's. It also runs three independant schools, two located in Berkshire and 1 located in Yorkshire for which financial support is available. Membership of the charity is open to people who work in the licensed drinks industry
