Keith Hickey reviews the ASB's Interpretation for Public Benefit Entities...
The Accounting Standards Board issued the Interpretation on the 28 June 2007[i]. The principles in the Interpretation are consistent with those relevant to profit-orientated entities and many are exactly the same. Any re-expression, change of emphasis or additions to the principles are designed to make them more relevant to public benefit entities and have been made only to clarify their application in situations specific to public benefit entities.
