I seldom come across a charity, large or small, that has not suffered major disruption and financial loss as a result of the way that anti-discrimination laws are being applied by Employment Tribunals (ETs) and the licence they give to vexatious employees and unscrupulous no-win no fee lawyers to extort money from employers who have done nothing at all wrong.

Michael Rubenstein has written for Equal Opportunities Review (EOR) since its inception in 1985.
In October 2007, his company acquired EOR and he became its publisher. In October 2010, he launched Equality Law Reports, of which he is general editor.
He has also been editor of Industrial Relations Law Reports since it was started in 1972.
He is a former chairman, and now honorary vice-president, of the Industrial Law Society, and a trustee and management board member of the Equal Rights Trust.
