Recent times have seen a number of high profile school 'failures' including Wentworth College (Bournemouth), Bolitho School (Penzance) and St Ursula's (Bristol). Certain operations have been rescued by either charity merger or business sale, often with the use of an insolvency process, whilst others have been forced to close for good.
