Phil Hope MP was appointed Minister for the Third Sector in the Cabinet Office in June 2007. He has also been Minister for the East Midlands since the January 2008 reshuffle. He has been MP for Corby and East Northamptonshire since 1997. He was formerly a local councillor, a management and community work consultant and a secondary school teacher. He is married with two children and is a member of the Wine Society co-operative. Interests include gardening, tennis and juggling (he keeps a juggling set on his desk)
