Out of the woods?
John Redwood looks at market prospects for the remainder of 2010 and finds that knowing when to get in and out of Western shares is key, along with a balanced approach to overall asset portfolios.
We forecast 2010 as a year when it would be difficult to earn decent real returns. We said markets might be volatile, but end up offering poor returns. After six months it is sad to report that is the pattern so far.
