Although consultants have sometimes had an unfortunate reputation in certain sectors, John Baguley believes they have much to offer non profits if used in the right way
Many charities are wary of using consultants because they fear that the cost will be outside their pay scale, and the advice may not make that crucial difference they are seeking. Notorious for ‘borrowing the client’s watch to tell them the time’ consultants may seem a scary proposition for cash-strapped directors and trustees.
