Impact reporting
Charities have no choice but to prove their worth, says Kate Hand
It sometimes seems that there is a contradiction at the heart of the current debate over impact reporting. While charities are exhorted to look beyond outputs and outcomes at the complete picture of their impact; in the effort to present a coherent and engaging report of that impact they often end up either assuming impact from outcomes or making over-simplified statements of impact.
