Efficient resource management and government support are key to sector endurance, says Seb Elsworth
As we progress ever further down a timeline of economic turbulence, the role of charities becomes increasingly important. The number of people that will interact with charities is bound to rise over the coming months as the social problems associated with recession fall to charities to counteract. In such testing conditions, it is easy for organisations to internalise their issues and restrict themselves to a viewpoint of survival, however it is important to take stock and not lose sight of the larger picture, the sector and the impacts on society as a whole.
