Stephen Bubb believes there is no time to be lost on leading the capacity building agenda
The recession has posed a number of challenges for our sector, most acutely the ‘perfect storm’ of falling income and rising demand. Although the third sector has the potential to play a major role in economic recovery, and the case for a greater role in public service reform is stronger now than ever before, this requires support in building capacity.

Sir Stephen Bubb is chief executive of the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations and chair of The Social Investment Business.
In 2007 he became secretary general of EUCLID, the European Third Sector Leaders Network.
