Seb Elsworth highlights governance reforms that acevo believe would improve board performance
During 2007, acevo, in its 20th anniversary year, carried out a commission of inquiry into the state of governance in the third sector. Chaired by Sir Rodney Brooke, its final report ‘Chief Executives on Governance’ was launched at the acevo annual conference last November. The report is based on evidence from chairs, chief executives, leading figures in the public sector and experts on governance, and includes detailed case study material from countries around the world.
