CIM’s marketing excellence awards includes not for profit category
September 2009
The Chartered Institute of Marketing is including not for profit among the 18 categories in its first national Marketing Excellence Awards.
The deadline date for entries is Friday 16 October with the winners’ outstanding achievements celebrated at a prestigious awards dinner at London’s newly built Grange St Paul’s Hotel on 17 February 2010. The judging of the not for profit category will be undertaken by Clarissa Dann, Editor of Caritas, Charity Funding Report and Codicil.
The awards have been developed to highlight the fundamental role marketing plays, throughout business, the public, and the not for profit sectors, and to celebrate the best marketing achievements across many industry sectors. David Thorp, director of research and professional development at the worldwide institute said ‘Our new Marketing Excellence Awards are open to marketers from across the UK – no matter what sector or size of the organisation. Many marketers are doing a fantastic job for their organisations, particularly in this tough economic climate, and our awards will help celebrate the tremendous creativity and brilliant performance of the UK’s best marketers.’
The closing date for entries is Friday, 16 October 2009. Further details of the award categories and a downloadable nomination form are available from
