Catholic Care forced to abandon exemption hopes

They said it was, in their “respectful view”, entirely possible for Catholic adoption agencies to implement, after careful thought, “an open door policy, to comply with the regulations and yet to think of themselves as pursuing the mission of the Church towards children in need of adoptive parents”.
