Drawing upon our offshore heritage and independence, our services are based around a dedication to traditional client service, open architecture and the latest portfolio management techniques. Always looking to embrace technology within our processes, our forward thinking approach to investment management has helped us deliver a rigorous investment process for our growing, international client base.

As a division of Collins Stewart plc, a listed and well capitalised financial advisory group, we have assets of £6.8bn* under management and administration, on behalf of over 9,000 clients, managed from our offices in London, the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Geneva. Our broad range of investment products and services includes portfolio management, stockbroking and investment funds, all tailored to suit the individual needs of our three core distribution channels: Private Clients, Charities and Intermediaries.

Services for Charities

We offer a range of services specifically tailored to meet charity needs, drawing upon a disciplined investment philosophy and a sophisticated investment process. Extensive resources and our network of offices enable us to combine international investment expertise with a focus on traditional customer service to deliver your investment goals.

Our style strikes a chord with charities because we are independent, high conviction, active managers focused on producing consistent performance within clearly identified risk parameters. Our overall aim is to protect capital in falling markets and maximise returns on a risk adjusted basis in rising markets, with a bias towards producing absolute total returns whilst also recognising your need for income.

Whilst inherently risk averse, we are innovative investors and our experienced investment team provides access to a wealth of investment opportunities, which includes our longstanding use of alternative asset classes. We believe that charity trustees, like ourselves, should invest the assets as though they were their own; with a dual responsibility for balancing risk and reward, but taking account of the widest investment opportunities available.

Our charity managers have considerable experience and we can offer charities a wide selection of products and services to include:

• Common Investment Funds – one for Income, one for Growth
• Segregated discretionary portfolios
• Multi-manager portfolios
• Cash Management and Treasury Service
• Personal Service and Advice
• On-line reporting / valuation tool

We listen to your needs and are extremely flexible in helping to meet them, irrespective of portfolio size. Our personal service and bespoke reporting are tailored around each individual charity’s investment and administrative needs. We offer third party monitoring for ethical and SRI investing and ensure there is a high level of transparency around performance, quoting all performance figures after fees and expenses.
