Working with the Charity Finance Directors’ Group, CODAL has developed an insurance product which covers the essentials demanded by good governance and also takes account of the specialist nature of the charity sector and reflects the unique demands faced by the sector. In addition various extras and options are available so that each policy suits the needs of individual charities.

• The cover takes an inclusive approach to the people involved with each charity from volunteers through staff and managers to directors, officers and trustees.
• The additional burden of finding temporary accommodation after the disruption of a fire or flood can be alleviated by the provision of a replacement office facility nearby with up to 6 PCs supplied and installed within 24 hours and restored with information and records which have been saved via free on-line back-up facilities.
• Thomas Miller has been providing advice and legal and claims assistance to its clients for over 100 years and CODAL clients will have direct access to a dedicated claims and advisory helpline.
• CODAL aims to provide these services at competitive premium and is also able to offer members of the Charity Finance Directors’ Group a 5% discount on CODAL premium. In addition 2% of the premium received on all CODAL policies will be donated to the CFDG.
