Cashcascade®

Weekly lottery-style fundraising, without the cost, risk and hassle

Many charities are coming to recognise that a lottery is great way to encourage new supporters to engage with their cause and to motivate occasional givers to move to a regular gift.

The usual format to achieve this is with a conventional weekly lottery, but there are a number of associated downsides, including the substantial investment needed to get going and the burden of red tape: it can be a very time consuming project which may not produce a nett positive return for months, or even years.

That’s why we created Cashcascade®, bringing an easy route for our clients to a lottery-style game, freed from investment risk and any regulatory burden.

Cashcascade® looks like a lottery, with a number comparison process which all your supporters and potential supporters will be familiar and comfortable with.

But because Cashcascade® uses a different game architecture, it escapes all the restrictions and problems which arise with a conventional lottery, which means that:

  • Players choose their own “lucky” numbers, not a randomly generated set.
  • There is a choice of £1 or £2 weekly stakes
    • Players find the level which is best for them, meaning that transaction levels are optimised (the average is currently £1.80 per week).
  • Prizes are fixed amounts: match five numbers to win £50,000.00 for a £2 stake
    • Much better than the National Lottery!
  • Clients don’t need a lottery licence, complete any paperwork, or pay any regulatory fees.

Cashcascade® comes complete with a full administration service, so there’s no work to do. Direct debits, credit card payments and cheques are all managed by us, so you don’t get any bank charges either.

And because we don’t charge set-up or management fees you can sign-up for the programme completely free and without risk.

In fact we’ll even give you a free initial supply of marketing materials and consultancy to help get your player recruitment off to a flying start.

Each month we’ll provide a report detailing the number of players supporting your cause and the stakes paid. You will receive a commission cheque for 45% of the gross stake value. And remember, because we have a choice of two stake levels, stake receipts are higher, which means more commission for your charity.

All new supporters recruited through Cashcascade® are available to your charity for further use in your other fundraising programmes, in full compliance with the Data Protection Act. We can export data from our system in a variety of formats to suit your needs and schedule.
